PAGE 5 - FORMAT
TheFormatfunctionletsyouinitializeacard.
PressSD CARD and use the MENU or PAGE buttons
toreachthispage.
Warning:
Whenformattingacard,alldataitcontainsislost.
SD Card
This is a very fast format command. This command
rewritesjusttheFAT(FileAllocationTable)ofthecard,
withoutactualreformattingofallsectors.
1. Insertacardintothecardslot.
2. PressF2(FORMA
T)toselecttheformattingcom
mand.
3. The“Deletealldata?”messageappearsinthedis
play;pressENTERtoconfirm,EXITtoabort.
4.
The “Press F4 to continue” message appears in
the dis
play; press F4 to confirm f
ormatting, or
EXITtoabort.
PAGE 6 - NEW DIR
The New Dir function lets you create a new folder in
anyofthecards,orinsideanygenericfolder.Youcan’t
createoropen“.SET”folders,sincethese arereserved
folders,tobecreatedwithaSaveoperation.
PressSD CARD and use the MENU or PAGE buttons
toreachthispage.
New folder procedure
1. Insertacardintothecardslot.
2. PressF1toscanthecard.
3. Pressone oftheAVOLUME/VALUEbuttons.You
arepromptedtoassignanametothenewfold
er:
MovethecursorusingtheDOWN/‐andUP/+but
tons. Select a characte
r using the DIAL. Insert a
character
at the cursor position by pressing the
INSERT button. Delete a character at the cursor
positionbypressingtheDELETEbutton.
4. Press F2 (CREATE) to confirm. The “A r e you
sure?”messageappears.Press
ENTERtoconfirm,
EXITtoabort.
PAGE 7 - RENAME
Use the Rename function to change the name of a
folderorafile. Topreservedata structureconsistence,
youcan’trename singlefilesinside a“.SET”folder,or
the“.SET”foldernameextension.
PressSDCARDand usetheMENU or PAGE buttons
toreachthispage.
Rename procedure
1. Insertthecardthatcontainsthefiletoberenamed
intothecardslot.
2. PressF1toscanthecard.
3. Move the item to rename to the first li
ne. Then
pressoneoftheAVOLUME/VALUEbuttons.You
areprom
ptedtochangethename:
