Pitch modulation
AMS (Alternate Modulation Source)
This parameter selects the source that will modulate
thepitchoftheselectedoscillator.See“A M S (Alternate

Thisparameterspecifiesthedepthanddirectionof the
effectproducedbyAMS”.Withasettingof0,nomod

EG Intensity
Thisparameterspecifiesthedepthanddirectionof the

This parameter selects the source that will modulate

This parameter specifies the depth and direction of the
effect that “A M S will have. For example, if you set
“A M S toVelocityandsetthisvalueto+12.00,theveloc
itywi
llcontroltherangeofpitchchangeprod
ucedbythe
pitchEGinarangeof±1octave.Asyouplaymoresoftly,
thepitchchangewilldrawclosertothepitchEGlevels.
Note: “Intensity” (Pitch EG) and AMS will be added to
determine the depth and direction of the pitch modulation
appliedbythepitchEG.

Portamento
This parameter turns the portamento effect (smooth
changeinpitch from one notetothe next) on/off,and
specifieshowitwillbeapplied.

This parameter sets the portamento time. Increasing

effectthatjoystickmovementinthe+Ydirection(away
from yourself) will have on the pitch modulation

ectionwillcausethe LFO1toproduce deeperpitch
modulation. With a setting of 12.00 a maximum of ±1
octaveofpitchmodulationwillbeapplied.Negative(–
)valueswillinverttheLFOwaveform.

This parameter selects the source that will control the
depthofpitchmodulationproducedbytheLFO1.See

Thisparameter specifies the depth and direction of the
effectthatAMS”willhave.Withasettingof0,modula
tionwillnotbeapplied.Withasettingof12.00,the
LFO1
willapplyamaximumof±1octaveofpitchmodulation.
Negative(–)settingswillinverttheLFOwaveform.
Forexampleif “A M S issettoJoystick+Yandpushthe
joystick,apositive(+)settingofthisparameterwillcause
thepitchmodulationcreatedbyLFO1tobeappliedwith
the normal phase, and a negative (–) setting will cause
theLFOtobeappliedwithinvertedphase.
