Style Record mode
Exit and Save/Abort Style
EXIT AND SAVE/ABORT STYLE
When finished editing, you can save your Style in
memory, or abort any change. Press WRITE or
RECORDtogototheWritepage(see“TheWritewin
dow”onpage54).

THE WRITE WINDOW
This page appears when you press the WRITE or
RECORDbuttonwhileinRecordmode.Hereyoucan
savetherecordedoreditedStyleinmemory.
•Tosav
etheStyletotheinternalmemory
,pressthe
A or B VOLUME/VALUE buttons, then press
ENTER.The“A r e yousure?”message willappear.
PressENTERtoconfirm,orEXITtoabort.
•ToreturntothepreviousStyleRecordpage,le
av
ing all unt ouched and the Style
unsaved, press
EXIT.
•TodeleteallchangestotheStyle,pressone ofthe
D VOLUME/VALU
E buttons to select the Abort
command. The “A r e you sure message?” will
appear.PressENTERtoconfirmdeletion,orEXIT
toreturntotheWritepage.
Style name
Use this parameter to change the Style’s name. Press
theright A VOLUME/VALUEbutton to enter editing,
andmodifythenameusingtheUP/DOWNbuttonsto
move the cursor, and the DIAL to select a character.
Press IN SERT to insert a character at the cursor posi
tion,orDE
LETEtodeleteit
To (Style number)
Use the B VOLUME/VALUE buttons, or the TEMPO/
VALUE controls, to select a different User Style loca
tioninmemory.
Note:OnlyUserlocationsareavailable.
Abort
SelectthiscommandtodeleteanychangetotheStyle.
LIST OF RECORDED EVENTS
The Style Record mode filters out some events that
maydamagetheright operationoftheStyle.Here are
the recorded events, and the most important filtered
outevents.
(*) A Note Off will alway
s be inserted at the end of
theChordVariation.
Note: Some Control Change messages cannot be rec
orded
directlyusingmicroARRANGERintegratedcontrols.
FAST DELETE USING THE CONTROL PANEL
BUTTONS
While in theMain page or the Style Tracks page, you
canusethecontrolpanelbuttonstodeletevariousele
mentsoftheStyle:
DELETE + note
Whenatrackisselected,youcanusethiskeyseq uence
to delete a single note or a single percussive instru
ment.
If the Style is playing,
thisshortcut deletesthe instru
ment only while the key is kept pressed, leaving all
other
notesuntouchedwithinthetrack.
DELETE + Track
WhileintheStyleTrackspage,youcandeleteawhole
trackwith a singleshortcut. Keep theDELETEbutton
pressed, then press one of the VOLUME/VALUE but

espondingtothetracktobedelete
d.The“A r e
you sure?” message appear. Press ENTER to confirm,
EXITtoabort.
