Playing a Song from a card
9 Finish the recording.
PRESS PLAY/STOP (SEQ1)
and the Recording status will be gone. Both Backing
Sequ
ence tracks (RT and Ch/Acc) will be set to the
PLAYstatus.
10 Listen to the Song.
When back in the Backing Sequence Play page, press
PLAY
/STOP (SEQ1) to listen to the new Song. How
smartwereyou?
If the Song is fine, you can switch to the Song mode
and do some ed
iting. Or you can save it (as seen
below),andplayitinSong Playmode.
11 Deleting one of the tracks, or the whole Song
and re
cord again.

2. Set the track to dele
te and set the REC statu
s to
record.
3. Setthetrackyouwanttolist
entoduringrecording
toPLAY status. If you don’twanttodelete it, but
youdon’twanttolistentoit,setthetracktoMUTE
status.
4. Startrecordingagain.Ifyou arerec
ordingthe RT
track,youcan’tusetheStylecontrols.
5. Press PLAY/STOP (SEQ
1) to finish the Song and
exitRecordingmode.
12 Time to save your Song.
If you don’t save your Song, it will be los
t when you
turn the instrument off, or switch to the Song Play
mode. You must save toacardany Song you wish to
preserve.
1. InsertyourSDcardintothecardslot.
2.
IntheBackingSequencePlaypage,selecttheʺSave
Songʺ
parameter.
3. Pressthe[F1]buttontoselecttheSDcard(SD).
4. Movethefol
derwhereyouwishtosav
eyourSong
tothefirstlineof thedisplay,usingtheE–F(Scroll
Up) and G–H (Scroll Down) VOLUME/VALUE
buttons,ortheTEMPO/VALUEcontrols.PressF3
(OPEN) to open it. Close the current folder by
pressingF4(CLOSE).
5.
To
create
a new file, move the “NEW_NAME.MID”
itemtothefirstlineofthedisplay
.
6. When the “NEW_NAME.MID”
item is selected,
pressoneoftheAVOLUME/VALUEbuttons.You
arepromptedtoassignanametothenewfolder:
MovethecursorusingtheDOWN/‐andUP
/+but
tons. Select a character using the DIAL. Insert a
char
acter at the cursor position by pressing the
INSERT button. Delete a character at the cursor
positionbypressingtheDELETEbutton.
7. When you have finished wr
iting a name for the
new midifile, press F2 (SAVE) to confirm. The
“A r e you sure?” message will appear. Press
ENTERtoconfirm,orEXITtoabort.

PLAYING A SONG FROM A CARD
1 Insert the card containing the Song into the
card slot.
2 Press the SONG PLAY button to access the
Song Play mode.
