1. Move GROUND SPEED RANGE switch (A) to L (the low-
range position).
2. Move throttle lever (B) to a mid-range position.
NOTE:
Steering will be less sensitive when the windrower is
operating in the low-speed range, and the engine speed will
be reduced.
CAUTION
Ensure that all bystanders have cleared the area.
3. Move the ground speed lever (GSL) rearward to the desired
speed setting.

4. Steer the windrower as shown.
Driving Forward in Engine-Forward Mode
In engine-forward mode, the operators station will face the engine, and the header will be behind the Operator. Generally,
this mode is used when operating the windrower on a roadway.

If necessary, swivel the operators station to the engine-forward
