Consult this section to learn the hazards that each type of safety sign denotes.

Run-over hazard
DANGER
• Starting the machine while it is in gear can lead to
serious injury or death
• Do NOT start the engine by shorting the starter or the
starter relay terminals. If the machine starts with the
drive engaged, it can begin moving.
• Start the engine ONLY from the operator’s seat. Do NOT
try to start the engine with someone under or near the
machine.

DANGER
• The training seat is provided so that an experienced
Operator can instruct a new Operator on how to use the
machine.
• The training seat is NOT intended as a passenger seat or
for use by children.
• The Operator and the Passenger must wear their safety
belts when operating or riding in the machine.
• Keep all other riders off of the machine.

DANGER
To prevent the machine from moving when there is no Operator
at the controls:
• Stop the engine and remove the key from the ignition
before performing any maintenance or service on the
steering linkage or the neutral interlock system.
• Refer to the windrower and header operator’s manuals for
inspection and maintenance instructions.
