5.4 Maintenance Platforms
The maintenance platforms have three positions:
• Closed position
• Open – standard position
• Open – major servicing position
5.4.1 Opening Platforms – Standard Position
This procedure describes how to open the cab-forward left platform. Follow the same procedure to open the right
platform.
CAUTION
Do NOT stand on an unlocked platform. It is unstable and may cause you to fall.
