5.2 Preparing for Servicing
Follow these steps to safely prepare the windrower for maintenance or servicing tasks.
WARNING
To avoid personal injury, before servicing the windrower or opening the drive covers:
• Fully lower the header. If you intend to service the windrower with the header in the raised position, engage the
header lift cylinder safety props.
• Disengage the header drive.
• Stop the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
• Wait for all moving parts to come to rest.
