High-pressure oil hazard
WARNING
High-pressure hydraulic fluid can penetrate human skin, which
can cause serious injury such as gangrene, which can be fatal.
To prevent this:
• Do NOT go near hydraulic fluid leaks.
• Do NOT use a finger or skin to check for hydraulic
fluid leaks.
• Lower the load or relieve the pressure in the hydraulic
system before loosening any hydraulic fittings.
• If you are injured, seek emergency medical help.
IMMEDIATE surgery is required to remove hydraulic fluid
which has penetrated the skin.
