•Alwaysinstallwheelchockswhenmanually
releasingtheparkingbrake,orthevehiclecan
roll.
•Fortowing,makesurethevehicleissecurely
connectedtotowvehicleandtowvehicle
parkingbrakeareappliedbeforereleasingthe
disabledvehicle’sparkingbrake.
•Toensurereleaseofparkingbrake,alwayscage
thespringinthebrakechamber.
•Undernocircumstancesshouldthespring
brakechamberbedisassembledforthepurpose
ofreleasingtheparkingbrake.

Topreventpropertydamage,observethe
following:Duetomanyvariablesthatexistin
towing,positioning,andlifting,towingisthesole
responsibilityofthetowingoperator.

equipmentmanufacturerforspecicinstructions
ontowingyourvehicle.Furtherinformationcan
belocatedinthecomponentownermanualthat
camewiththistruckondeliveryfororiginalsale.
Damagecausedbyimpropertowingprocedures
isnotawarrantablefailure.
Removetowhooksfromtheirinstalledposition
inthefrontofthevehiclebeforeoperatingthe
vehicle.Failuretodosocouldresultinthetow
hooksbecomingunintentionallydetachedfrom
thevehicle.
NOTE:Importantfactorstokeepinmindwhenusingtow
hooks:
•Usebothtowhookswhenretrievingvehicle.
•Useaslowsteadypull;donotjerkonhooks.
•Towhooksarenotdesignedfortowing,onlyfor
retrieval.
NOTE:Thetowhooksmustberemovedtooperatethe
optionaltilt-awaybumper.
