Withtheengineoff,visuallyinspectthechargeaircoolercore
andradiatorcoreassemblyfordebrisandcloggingofexternal
ns.Priortoengineoperation,removeanydebrisblockingthe
core.
Thecoresmaybecleanedbyexternallybackushingthem
withcompressedairand/orwater.Usehigh-pressureairor
waterThextonradiatorcleaningwandwith90-degreetip,P/N
4106-NAV,availablefromyourInternationaldealer,forbest
results.
NOTE:Avisualinspectionoftheareabetweenthe
condenserandradiatorshouldalsobedoneatthistime.
Removedebrisasnecessary.

toremovethepressurecapfromtheradiator
orexpansiontankandpreventcontactwith
hotcoolantorsteam.Allowtheenginetocool
rst.Wrapathick,heavyclotharoundthecap.
Unscrewthecapslowlytoallowpressureto
releasefromunderthecap.Afterthepressure
hasbeenreleased,thepressurecapmaybe
removed.
WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjuryand/ordeath,or
damagetoproperty,donotexceedthepressure
ratingonthedeaerationtankcap.Ensurethat
thepressureratingofthedeaerationtankcap
matchesthatlistedonthesideofthetank,orthe
tankmayburst.
