UphillandDownhillOperation
•Startthevehicleinmotionbyutilizingthehighestgear
speedinthetransmissionthatwillenabletheengineto
easilypulltheloadwithoutslippingtheclutch.Accelerate
smoothlyandevenlytoengineratedspeed.Rapid
accelerationwillresultinhighfuelconsumption.
•Whenapproachingahill,depressacceleratorsmoothlyto
starttheupgradeatfullpower,thenshiftdownasneeded
tomaintainvehiclespeed.
•Preventoverspeedingoftheenginewhengoingdown
longandsteepgrades.Thegovernorhasnocontrol
overenginespeedwhenitisbeingpushedbytheloaded
vehicle.Operateinagearthatwillpermitanengine
speedbelowtheMaximumGovernedSpeedorHigh-Idle
rpm(noload).
Steering
Bealerttoanychange(feel)insteeringwhendriving.This
changeorfeelincludesincreasedsteeringeffort,unusual
soundswhenturning,excessivewheelplay,orpullingto
eitherside.Ifanyoftheabovearedetected,havethevehicle
inspectedandrepairedatoncebyaqualiedmechanic.

columnwhilethevehicleismoving.Itcould
suddenlyorunexpectedlymove,causingthe
drivertolosecontrolofvehicle.
CAUTION

tiltortelescopingsteeringmechanism.
