HillStartAid/HillBrake(IfEquipped)
Sometransmissionsareequippedwithanoptionalhillbrake.
Thesedevicesareactivatedwhenthevehiclecomestoa
completestoponagradientsufcientforthetransmissiongrade
sensortoinitiate.Whenstoppedonanincline,useofthis
optionalfeaturecanhelptheoperatorbegincontrolledforward
movementwithoutrollingbackward.Refertotransmission
equipmentmanufacturerforspecicinstructionsandsafety
precautionsforproperuse.
CreepMode
CertainEaton
®
transmissionscomewithacreepmode.The
creepmodecanbeusedduringlowspeedsformaneuverability.

PowerTake-OffControl
IfyourvehicleisequippedwithaPowerT ake-Off(PTO),referto
thePTOequipmentmanufacturer’sinstructions.
CoastModeandNeutralCoastMode(IfEquipped)
SometransmissionsareequippedwithanoptionalCoastmode
and/orNeutralCoastMode.TheCoastModemaykeepthe
transmissionfromdownshiftingintolowergearswhilecoming
toastoponlevelterrain,thetransmissionwillre-selectagear
whenthethrottleisreapplied.TheNeutralCoastModewill
allowthetransmissiontodisengagethedrivelinegearonslight
downgradeswhenenginepowerisnotrequiredwhilethecruise

EatonOver-speedProtection
EatonOver-SpeedProtectionwillautomaticallyupshiftto
preventengineover-speedwhileindrive,manualorlowgear
