airleaks.Makesurethatfthwheelisnotsofarforward
thattractorframeormudapswillstriketrailerlanding
gearduringturns.
4.Lubrication:Makesurethattopsurface(face)ofthefth
wheelhasacoatofgrease.
5.Mountingboltsandreleasehandle:Lookforloose
ormissingmountingbrackets,clamps,boltsornuts.
Alllockingpinsmustbeinplaceandfreeofdamage.
Ensurethatreleasehandleisintheengagedposition
andthesafetylatchisfunctioningandfreeofdamage.
6.Deckplateandaccesssteps:Checktoensurethatthe
deckplateandstepsareclean,securelyboltedinplace,
andclearoflooseobjects.
