WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjuryand/ordeath,or
damagetoproperty,ifyouneedtoswitchyour
gripfromonehandholdtoanotherasyouclimb,
dosoonlywhenbothfeetarermlyincontact
withthestepsandonehandisrmlygraspinga
handhold.
NOTE:Dependingontheoptionschosenatthetimeof
purchase,thepassenger-sidemaybeequippedwithan
interiorandexteriorgrabhandletoassistenteringand
exitingthecab.
1.Whilemaintainingthreepointsofcontactwiththevehicleat
alltimes(twohandsandonefootoronehandandtwofeet),
useonlythedesignatedhandholdsandstepstoclimbdown
fromthecab.
2.Ifyouneedtoswitchyourgripfromonehandholdtoanother
asyouclimb,dosoonlywhenbothfeetarermlyincontact
withthestepsandonehandisrmlygraspingahandhold.
AirbagSystem
Yourvehiclemaybeequippedwithadriver-sidefrontalairbag
locatedinthecenterofthesteeringwheel.Ifyourvehicleis
equipped,thewordAIRBAGwillbelocatedinthecenterofthe
steeringwheel.Theairbagisdesignedtosupplementprotection
providedbytheseatbelts.
WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjury,and/ordeath,always
weartheseatbelt,evenwithairbags.Airbags
aredesignedtoworkwithseatbelts,notreplace
them.Also,airbagsarenotdesignedtoinatein
everyaccident.Insomeaccidentsseatbeltsare
theonlyrestraint.
Wearingyourseatbeltduringanaccident
helpsreducethechanceofhittingthingsinside
thevehicleorbeingejectedfromit.Airbags
aresupplementalrestraintstotheseatbelts.
Everyoneinthevehicleshouldwearaseatbelt
properly,whetherornotthereisanairbagfor
thatperson.

Seatbeltshelpkeeptheoperatorinposition
beforeandduringanaccident.Alwaysweara
seatbelt,evenwithairbags.Theoperatorshould
sitasfarbackaspossiblewhilestillmaintaining
controlofthevehicle.Theseatbeltsandthe
airbagaremosteffectivewhensittingwellback
anduprightintheseatwithbothfeetontheoor.
