Theremotekeylessentrykeyfobisusedtolockandunlockboth
cabdoorsfromadistanceof30feet.Onedepressionofthelock
buttonwilllockallofthevehicledoors,whileonedepression
oftheunlockbuttonunlocksallofthevehicledoors.Thechirp
functionofthelockingsystemiscontrolledbythebodycontroller
andisaprogrammablefeature.Thebodycontrollerreceives
asignalandchirpsthehornwhenthedoorsarelockedifthe
featureisprogrammed.
Pressingthelockbuttononcewilllockthedriver-and
passenger-sidedoors.Pressingasecondtimewillsoundthe
hornmomentarilyasaconrmationthatthedoorsarelocked.
Also,theoptionalkeylessentrykeyfobturnsontheinteriorlight
foratimeperiodwhenitsUnlockbuttonispressed,anditturns
OFFthelight(dimsgraduallytoOFF)whenitslockbuttonis
pressed.Thepanic(emergency)button,whenpushed,causes
thehorntochirpON/OFFfor3minutes,inunisonwiththe
headlightsandparklightsashing.Thisfeatureworksonlywhen
theignitionswitchisintheOFFposition.
Theoptionalkeylessentrysystemalsoallowsthetrucktostay
runningwiththebrakesappliedandlightsonforaddedsafety
andsecuritywhilemakingdeliveriesduringthenighttime.This
featureallowsthedrivertolockandunlockthetruckwhile
outsideofthetruckwhileitisrunning.

theoptionschosenatthetimeofpurchase.
Remotekeylessentryauxiliaryfunctionsincludebutarenot
limitedtothefollowing:
•Auxiliarytrailerpower
•Worklights
Toactivatetheremotekeylessentryauxiliaryfunctionspress
andholdtherespectiveAUXbuttonforlessthanonesecond.
Thesefunctionscanonlybeactivatedoneatatime.
Todeactivatearemotekeylessentryauxiliaryfunctionpressand
holdtheAUXbuttonfor1-6seconds.
