nonresilientrubbergasket.Inspecttheairlterelement
bodyfordentsorexcessivepleatbunching.Ifanyof
thementionedconditionsexist,obtainandinstallanew
airlterelementfromyourInternational
®
dealer.
7.Carefullyinstallthenewairlterelementintothelter
elementhousing.
8.Usingfourbolts,installaircleanercoverontolter
elementhousing.Usingtorquewrench,tightenboltsto
30lb-in(3.4N·m).
9.Whenservicingiscompleted,resetairrestrictiongauge
bypushingandholdingtheresetbuttonandreleasingit.
TheYELLOWindicatorwilldropbelowthewindow.Theair
restrictiongaugeisnowreadyforthenextoperatingcycle.
NOTE:Afterstartingengine,theindicatormaybeseenin
thelowerpartofthewindow.Thisisnormalandshouldnot
bemistakenasasignalforelementservice.

Thisvehiclecomeswithaselectionoftwoaircleaneroptions.
Therstoptionisasingleelement.Thesecondoptionisa
dualelementaircleanerthatisavailableforapplicationsin
excessivelydustyenvironmentsthatmayrequiremorefrequent
serviceintervals.Thesecondaryelementisinsidetheprimary
elementandpreventscontaminantsfromenteringtheengine
airintakesystemduringserviceoftheprimaryelement,orin
caseswheretheprimaryelementbecomesdamaged.Both
optionsareservicedinasimilarmanner.
NOTE:Donotchangetheaircleanerelementconguration
fromthefactory-installedconguration.Ifequippedwith
asingleelementordualelement,thatcongurationmust
staywiththevehicle.Failuretocomplymayaffectengine
performance.
NOTE:Becarefulnottobumptheairlterelementwhileitis
inthehousing;thiscanraiseacloudofdustthatcanenter
thecleansideofthepipingtotheturbocharger.
1.Liftandholdthelockingtab(locatedatthe2o’clock
position).Rotatethecovercounterclockwise(in
directionofunlocksymboloncover)toreleasecover
tabs,andpulltoremovethecover.Removethelter
element(s)carefullyandslowly,thendiscardtheold
element(s).
