PowerOperation
Trucksmayhaveoptionalelectricallyoperateddriver-side
andpassenger-sidewindows.Controlsforthesewindow
liftsaremountedinthedoorcontrolpanelslocatedbythe
ventwindows.Thedriver-sidecontrolsregulatewindow
operationforbothdriver-andpassenger-side.Toloweror
raisedriver-sidewindow,pressandholdeitherupordown
directiononthedriver-sideAUTOwindowcontrol.Toloweror
raisepassenger-sidewindow,pressandholdeitherupordown
directiononthepassenger-sideAUTOwindowcontrol.
Foronetouchwindowsdownoperation,pressandreleasethe
windowcontrolintheDowndirection.Thewindowwillthengo
tothefulldownpositionautomatically.
MirrorControls
Thesecontrolsprovidethedriverwiththeabilitytooperateboth
driver-andpassenger-sideatmirrors.Usethemirrorselect
switchtoselectwhichmirroristobeadjusted,andadjustthe
mirrorusingthemirrordirectionalcontrolpad.
Thedriveralsohastheabilitytoheat/defrostthemirrorsby
pushingthemirrorheatbuttonlocatedonthedriverdoorcontrol
panel.
VentWindow
Vehiclesareequippedwitheitheraxedoropeningventwindow.
Theopeningventwindowcanbeopenedandclosedtoallow
additionalairowintothecab.
PredictiveCruiseControl(PCC)System
WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjuryand/ordeath,or
damagetoproperty,thePredictiveCruiseControl
(PCC)systemisnottobeusedorrelieduponto
operateavehicle.Thesystemshouldbeused
inconjunctionwithotherfactoryequipmentand
instrumentationtomaintainsafeoperation.A
vehicleequippedwiththePCCsystemshould
beoperatedinthesamesafemannerasifthe
systemwerenotinstalled.Thesystemisnota
substitutefornormalsafedrivingprocedures.It
willnotcompensateforanydriverimpairment,
suchasdrugs,alcohol,orfatigue.ThePCC
systemisintendedsolelyasanenhancementto
thefactorycruisecontrol.
NOTE:InterveningoroverridingthePCCsystemduring
operationmaynegativelyimpactthementionedfuel
economybenets.
