NOTE:Toaccessthebatterybox,ndtheplasticpanel
(batterydoor)behindtheupperstepundertheleft-side
cab,releasethelatches,andliftupthebatterydoor.
InspectionItems
1.Wipers:Checkwindshieldwiperarmsforproperspring
tensionandwiperbladesfordamage.
2.Windshield:Checkfordamagetowindshieldandclean
ifdirty.
3.Camera:Inspectfordamageandsecuremounting.
4.Cabstructure:Checkbodypanelssuchasdoors,
fairings,airshield,sunshade,andcabextendersfor
signsofbreaksordamage.Checkconditionofcab
mountingbracketsandtilthoodlatches.
5.Fueltank(s):Checktoseethatthefueltank(s)and
cap(s)aresecuredandmakesuretherearenoleaks
ordamageatthetank(s)orfuellines.
6.DieselExhaustFluid(DEF)tank:Checktoseethatthe
DEFtankandcaparesecuredandmakesurethereare
noleaksordamageatthetank,DEFlines,orcoolant
lines.
7.Batterybox:Inspectfordamageandsecuremounting
ofbatterybox.Removebatteryboxcover.
8.Batteriesandcables:Checkthatbatteriesaresecured
andcasesarenotbrokenorleaking.Ensurecablesare
freefromdamage.T opsofbatteriesandterminalsmust
becleanandfreefromforeignmaterial.Replacebattery
boxcover.
