exiting.
Donotholdanythinginyourhandswhen
enteringorexitingthecab.
Alwaysmaintainthreepointsofcontactwhile
enteringandexitingthecab.
Useonlythevehiclecomponentsthatare
designatedashandholdsandstepsordeck
plates.
Alwaysputyourfootatonthetopofthestep
ordeckplate.Donotputyourfootontheside
oredgeofthestepordeckplate.
Avoiddirectcontactwithaftertreatement
systemcomponents.Theycanremainhotafter
theenginehasbeenshutdown.
Donotputyourfootonasurfacethatdoesnot
haveaslip-resistant,self-cleaningstepmaterial.
Ifstepsaremountedtoabatterybox,besurethe
batteryboxcoverissecurelyfastenedbefore
stepping.
Keepallhandholds,steps,anddeckplates
cleanandfreeofmud,grease,spilledfuel,
water,snow,iceorotherslipperysubstances.
