plates.
•Alwaysputyourfootatonthetopofthestep
ordeckplate.Donotputyourfootontheside
oredgeofthestepordeckplate.
•Avoiddirectcontactwithaftertreatement
systemcomponents.Theycanremainhotafter
theenginehasbeenshutdown.
•Donotputyourfootonasurfacethatdoesnot
haveaslip-resistant,self-cleaningstepmaterial.
•Ifstepsaremountedtoabatterybox,besurethe
batteryboxcoverissecurelyfastenedbefore
stepping.
•Keepallhandholds,steps,anddeckplates
cleanandfreeofmud,grease,spilledfuel,
water,snow,iceorotherslipperysubstances.
