CAUTION
Topreventpropertydamage,avoidunapproved
lubricants,whichcancausepremature
componentfailure.RefertotheLubricantsand
SealerSpecicationtableforproperlubricants.
Wipecleanalldirtanddebrisfromgreasettingsbeforeapplying
grease.Ifthettingisnotcleaned,dirtcanbepushedinto
thecomponentwiththegrease.Alwaysllgreasetothepoint
whereoldgreaseandcontaminantsareforcedoutfromthepart
andonlynewgreasecomesout.Ifattingdoesnotaccept
lubricationduetodamageorinternalstoppage,replacewith
anewtting.Removeexcessgreasefromttingsandother
surfacesafterapplyinggrease.
Somevehiclesmayhaveoptionalremotemountedgrease
zerksfortheclutchcross-shafts.Thesettingsreduceservice
timebyprovidingconvenientaccesstoclutchcross-shaft
bushinggreasezerks.Greasemaybeappliedthroughtwo
remotemountedgreasezerksmountedtothebottomofthe
transmissionbellhousing.

CAUTION
Topreventpropertydamage,useonly
recommendedviscosityengineoil.Refertothe
EngineOperationandMaintenanceManualfor
engineoilspecications.
•Wait15minutesaftershuttingofftheenginebefore
checkingtheoillevel.Thisgivestheoiltimetodrain
backtotheoilpan.
•Cleanallcapsandllplugspriortoremovaltoprevent
dirtanddebrisfromenteringsystem.
•FillingthepowersteeringuidabovetheMAXCOLD
markwhencoldwillresultinuidoverowwhenhot.
•IfengineiscoldandcoolantisabovetheMIN/ADDline,
noadditionalcoolantisneeded.Excessivellingwhen
coldcancausetanktooverowwhenhot.
•Whencheckingtheaxlehubuidlevel,maintainuidlevel
tolllineonhubcap.
•Checktherearaxle(s)ventforblockage.Blockagecan
causeexcessivepressureintheaxleandcreateleaks.
