MaintenanceInstructionssection.
3.Oillevel:Usedipsticktoverifythattheoillevelis
betweentheMAXandADDmarks.
4.Fuel/waterseparator:Checksightglobe(ifDavco
®
equipped,informmaintenancepersonneliffuellevelis
attopofglobe,whichisanindicationthatthelterisdue
forreplacement)anddrainintocupperiodically.Inspect
forpresenceofwater,anddrainwaterasnecessary.
Checkforleaks.
5.Radiatorandchargeaircooler:Checkforloose
mountinganddamage.Inspectconditionofallhoses
fordamage,cracks,andleaks.Inspectforforeign
materialonfaceofcoolingpackage.Carefullybrush
awaycollectedmaterialswithoutbendingcoolingnsto
maintainproperairowthroughcoolingpackage.
NOTE:Checkairlinesandelectricalwiringforproper
security,andfordamage,andchang.Listenforaudible
airleaks.
NOTE:Checkforsignsofuidpuddlesundervehicle,or
wetcomponentsintheenginecompartment.
