OperatingtheVehicleUsingParkingBrakeInterlockOverride
Mode
Whentheoperationofthevehiclehasbeencompromised,use
theparkingbrakeinterlockoverridemodesothatthevehiclecan
bedriventoaservicelocationforrepair.
Toactivateparkingbrakeinterlockoverridemode:
•TurntheignitiontotheKeyONposition.
•PressandreleasethePARKINGBRAKErockerswitch
threetimesinrapidsuccession.
•PressPARKINGBRAKErockerswitchforseveral
secondsandrelease.
Oncetheinterlockoverridemodeisactivated,theleft-sideLED
ontheswitchwillbegintodoubleblink.
Theinterlockoverridemodewilldeactivateoncethevehicleis
parked.
BobtailOperation
NOTE:IfIntellipark
™
doesnotdetectatrailer,bobtailmode
maybeautomaticallyengaged.Aclustermessagewillbe
displayedindicatingthatbobtailmodehasbeenactivated.
Whenoperatingthevehiclewithoutatrailer,theIntellipark
™
trailerLEDswillbeconstantlyilluminated.ThetrailerLEDcan
beturnedoffbydoingthefollowing:
•LiftuptheTRAILERAIRSUPPLYrockerswitchforthree
ormoreseconds.
Doanyofthefollowingtoexitthebobtailmode:
•LiftupandreleasethePARKINGBRAKErockerswitch.
Or,
•PressdownandreleaseORorliftupandreleasethe
TRAILERAIRSUPPLYrockerswitch.
AirTrailerBrakeRelease
Whenthedriverforgetstosupplyairtothetrailer,Intellipark
™
mayautomaticallydetectthetrailerandthensupplyitwithair.
AirDryer
Thefunctionoftheairdryeristocollectandremovemoisture
andcontaminantsbeforethecompressedairreachestheair
reservoirs.Thisprotectstheairsystemcomponentsfrom
malfunctioningincludingblockage,corrosion,andfreezing.
Forairtankdrainingrequirements,refertotheMaintenance
Instructionssectionaswellaslocalregulations.
Theairdryerisinstalledinthedischargelinebetweentheair
compressorandtheairsystemreservoirs.Theairdryerincludes
areplaceabledesiccantcartridgeandoilblockinglterthatis
periodicallyserviced.Italsomayincludeaheatertopreventthe
dischargevalvefromfreezingincoldweather.
