thatautomaticallypurgesitselfandthedesiccantofcollected
waterattheendofeachcompressorcycle.
ABSConnectionsandSensors
Periodically,pushtogethertheABSwiringconnectionstoensure
theyarefullyseated.Pressthewheelspeedsensorsintotheir
mountingcollarstoensuretheyarefullyseated.
Cab
CareofVehicle
WashingandWaxing
Frequentandregularwashingwilllengthenthelifeofyournew
vehicle'spaintednishandbrightmetaltrim.
Washyourvehicleoftenwithwarmorcoldwatertoremovedirt
andpreservetheoriginallusterofthepaint.Neverwashthe
vehicleinthedirectraysofthehotsunorwhenthesheetmetal
ishottothetouch,asthismaycausestreaksonthenish.Do
notusehotwaterorstrongsoapsordetergents,asthismayetch
thepaintorexposedmetal/brightsurfaces.Donotwipeoffdirt
whenthesurfaceisdry,asthiswillscratchthepaintorexposed
metal/brightsurfaces.
Alwaysmakesurethatstepsandgrabhandlesarecleanand
freeofroadgrime,grease,ice,andotherdebris.
Priortousinganywaxorpolish,thevehiclemustbethoroughly
washedtoavoidscratchingthenish.
BrightMetalCare
Topreservethebrightlookofyourvehicle'strim(suchasgrilles
andbumpers),useonlymilddetergentsandlukewarmwater
forcleaning.Damagetothesepartscanoccurifcleaning
solutionshavingexcessiveacidityoralkalinity(pH)areused.
Also,thehigherthesolutiontemperatureranges,themore
causticthecleaner'schemicalcompoundsbecome.However,
ifhigh-pressurewashingequipmentandwashingcompounds
areused,satisfactoryresultscanbeachieved,ifthesolution
hasapHvaluebetween4and8andthetemperaturedoesnot
exceed160°F(71°C).Solutionsthataremoreacidicormore
alkalinewillattackthemetalliccoating.
Ifyouarehavingdifcultywithyourwashingcompound,contact
yourlocalsupplierfortheacidity/alkalinity(pH)specication.
Anonabrasivechromecleanermaybeusedsparinglytoclean
thebrightmetal.Donotusesteelwool.Useofautomobile
waxorpolishonbrightmetalusuallywillrestoretheoriginal
brightness.
UpholsteryCare
Useawhiskbroomandvacuumcleanertoremoveloosedust
anddirtfromupholsteryandoor.Vinylandwovenplastic
upholsterycanbewashedwithwarmwaterandmildsoap.
