tires,besurethatthereplacementtireloadrating(listed
separatelyinpoundsandkilogramsonthetiresidewall
forsingleordualapplications)multipliedbythenumber
oftiresonthataxleisequaltoorhigherthanthespecic
listedSteerAxleorDriveAxleGAWR.Failuretodosowill
adverselyaffectmaximumload-carryingcapacity.Tires
withthesamesizespecicationdonotalwayshavethe
sameloadspecication.
DualTiresMatching
Dualtiresshouldbematchedusingtiresofequivalentsize.Tires
thatdiffermorethan1/4inch(6mm)indiameteror3/4inch(19
mm)incircumferenceshouldnotbemountedonthesamedual
wheelassembly.

NOTE:Nevermixbiasandradialtiresonthisvehicle.
Itisrecommendedforbestoverallperformancethatonlyradial
tiresbeusedonthisvehicle.
Nevermixdifferenttiresizesorconstructionsonthesameaxle.
Rotation
•Steertiresthathavedevelopedsometypeofirregular
wearpatterncanberotatedtodriveaxlesifribtiresare
beingusedonallwheelpositions.Applyingsteertiresto
adrivepositionwilloftenwearofftheirregularitiesand
theycanbemovedbacktothesteeraxlesorrunoutto
retreadstageontherearaxle.
•Anotherrotationpossibilityforeetswithribtiresinall
wheelpositionsistobreakinthenewsteertiresinthe
driveaxlepositions,thenmovethemtosteeraxles.This
willwearawaytreadrubberrelativelyquicklyintheearly
lifeofatirewhenitismostlikelytodevelopanunusual
wearpattern.
•Driveaxletiresmaybeplacedontheotherendofthe
sameaxlesothatdirectionofrotationisreversed.Thisis
oftenhelpfulifaheelandtoeoralternatewheelnutwear
patternhasdeveloped.
