CollisionMitigationbraking.
Collisionwarningsystemsuseradarand/orcamerasto
determinethedistanceandrelativespeedofobjectsinfrontof
thevehicleortothesideofthevehicle.Theywarnthedriver
ofpotentiallydangeroussituationsthroughvisualandaudible
alerts.Additionally,somesystemcantakeactiontohelpthe
driveravoidsuchobjects.
NOTE:Allofthesesystemsrelyoncamerasorradarto
befullyfunctional.Ifthereisaproblemwitheitherthe
cameraortheradar,thesesystemsmayprovideonly
limitedfunctionality.
