1.Toenable,setallsafetyinterlocks.(Transmissionin
Neutral,parkingbrakeset,clutchnotdepressed,hood
closed).
2.TurntheignitionkeytoACC/ONandthenOFF.
3.DepressandreleaseAutoStart/Stopswitchon
theinstrumentpanelwithin30secondsafterturning
offignition.AGREENLEDwilllightsteadilyto
indicatesystemisenabled.Onceenabled,thesystem
automaticallyoperatesbaseduponprogrammed
parameters.
4.Ifequipped,depressNOIDLEHEATorNOIDLECOOL
switchonthebunkpanelasdesired.Systemwillretain
andresumesettingsaftereachruncycle.
5.Hornwillsoundbeforetheenginestarts.
6.Todisable,depressandreleaseAUTOSTART/STOP
switchontheinstrumentpanel.
AutoStart/StopSystemandHVACControls
TheAutoStart/Stopsystemfeaturecanminimizeengine
runtimewhilemaintainingacomfortablesleepertemperature
byusingthetruck'sHVACsystemforheatingandcooling.A
temperaturesensorlocatedinthecoldairreturnofthesleeper
HVACsystemmonitorscabtemperature.
Theoperatorselectsthedesiredtemperaturesettingonthe
mainsleeperHVACcontrolpanel.WhentheAUTOSTART/
STOPswitchisenabled,thesystemwillmonitorandmaintain
thesleepertemperaturewithinaprogrammablerangeof5
degrees.
Whentheenginestarts,thesystemwillautomaticallycontrolfan
speedandHVACtemperaturetomaintainacomfortablesleeper
temperature.
ToengagetheAutoStart/StopsystemusingHVACtemperature
control:
TransmissionisinNeutral.
Parkingbrakeisset.
Keyinaccessory(ACC)position.
EnableAUTOSTART/StopswitchwithrearA/C
switches.
SetfrontHVACblowerspeedtomediumandfullcold
mode(blueportionofdial).
TurnkeytotheOFF ,EngineOFFposition.

NOTE:Theoperatorwillnotbeabletoadjustfanspeed
ortemperaturewhentheengineisrunning.Temperature
selectioncanbedonewiththeengineoff.
