Alwaysensurethattheparkingbrakeisengagedwhenexiting
thevehicle.Thepurposeofthisbrakeistoholdthevehiclein
aparkedposition.Donotusetheparkingbraketosloworstop
thevehicleduringnormaldriving.
Toengagetheparkingbrake:
•PullandreleasePARKINGBRAKErockerswitch.
Toreleasetheparkingbrake:
•TurnignitiontoKEYON.
•Ensureallcabdoorsareclosed.
•Pressservicebrakepedal.
•PushandreleasePARKINGBRAKErockerswitch.
•PushandreleaseTRAILERAIRSUPPLYrockerswitch
(ifvehicleisconnectedtoatrailer).
RollawayPrevention

thesafeoperationofthevehicleatalltimes.The
operatormustNEVERrelyuponIntellipark

to
stopthevehicle.
TheIntellipark

rollawaypreventionfeatureisdesignedto
preventthevehiclefromrollingunintentionally.Thesystem
monitorsdriveractionsandifthevehicleismovingatslow
speedsforaperiodoftime(approximately30seconds)without
thedriverpressingtheacceleratorpedalorbrakepedal,

willautomaticallyengagetheparkingbrake.A
messagewillappearinthegaugeclusteralertingthedriver
beforeIntellipark
™
engagesthebrake.TopreventIntellipark
™
fromengagingtheparkingbrake,thedrivercanpressthe
acceleratorpedalorbrakepedal.
Thesystemmonitorsdriveractionsandifthevehicleismoving
atslowspeedswithoutthedriverpressingtheacceleratorpedal
orbrakepedal,Intellipark
™
willautomaticallyengagetheparking
brakeimmediatelyifanycabdoorisopened.
Whenthevehicleisstationary,Intellipark
™
monitorsdriver
actionsandengagestheparkingbrakeifthedriverdoesnot
applytheparkingbrakewhenturningoffthevehicle.
