WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjuryand/ordeath,or

enginenearammablevaporsasthismaycause
theenginespeedtoincreaseuncontrollablyand
overspeed.Turningofftheignitionswitchwill
notsloworstoptheengineduetouncontrollable
fuelingoftheenginethroughammablevapors
beingdrawnintotheengineairinlet.Operationof
components,suchasstarter,alternator,electric
motors,andstaticelectricity,couldalsoignite
ammablevapors.
WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjuryand/ordeath,or
damagetoproperty,donotexceedthetruck’s
grossaxleweight,grossvehicleweight,and
grosscombinationweightratings.Exceeding
theseratingsbyoverloadingcancause
componentfailure.
WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjuryand/ordeath,or
damagetoproperty,donotoperatethetruck
inthepossiblepresenceofammablevapors
unlessbothacompletehazardanalysisis
performedandnecessaryadditionalsafety
processesand/orequipmentsuchasvapor
testing,airintakeshutoffdevices,andventilation
areutilized.Theoperatorisresponsibleforusing
thoseprocessesand/orequipmenttoensure
thatthedieselengineandallothercomponents
onthetruckcanbeoperatedsafelyunderthe
specicconditionsandhazardsthatmaybe
encountered.
WARNING
Topreventpersonalinjuryand/ordeath,
ordamagetoproperty,alwaysuseoccupant
restraintsystemwhenvehicleismoving.Any
locationinthevehiclenotequippedwithaseat
beltshouldnotbeoccupiedwhenthevehicleis
beingoperated.
