seatbelts,theRollT ekSupplementalRestraintSystem(SRS)
providesadditionalprotectiontothedriverandpassenger(if
equipped)inrollovercrashes.SensorsintheRollT ekseatbase
activatethesystemwhenthetruckentersanirrecoverable
rollover.RollT ekrsttightensthelapandshoulderbeltssecuring
thedriverand/orpassenger(ifequipped)totheseat.Second,it
lowerstheseatsuspension,increasingseatstabilityandmoving
thedriverand/orpassengerawayfromthesteeringwheeland
ceiling.Theside-rollairbagdeploysfromtheoutboardsideof
theseatbackastheseatispulleddowntoitslowestposition,
providingprotectiontothedriverand/orpassengerinthepoint
ofcontactwiththecabinarollover.
