Whentheenginestarts,thetemperatureandfanspeedwill
beadjustedautomaticallytorestoreandmaintainthedesired
temperature.
HeatModeandESPARHeater
TheAutoStart/Stopsystemmaybeusedinconjunctionwith
fuelredheaters.Thesystemisconguredtoworkwithor
withoutanESPARheater.
Forvehicle’sequippedwithanESPARheater,theAutoStart
/Stopsystemwillnotstartthetrucktoheatthevehicle.For
vehicleswithoutanESPARheater,theAutoStart/Stopsystem
willstartthevehicleforbothheatingandcooling.
Heatwillbeprovidedbythefuelredheater.Ifthevehicledoes
requireastartduetolowbatteryvoltageorcoldengineoil,the
fuelredheaterwillcontinuetooperate.
Theoperatormustengagetheheaterandchoosethedesired
temperaturesettingonthevehicle’scontrolpanel.
VehiclesEquippedwithESPARHeaters
Forvehicle’sequippedwithanESPARheater,theAutoStart/
Stopsystemwillnotstartthetrucktoheatthevehicle.
•DONOTACTIVATEtherearHVACswitch.Theheat
modeofautomaticclimatecontrolwillbedisabledwith
thisconguration.
•TheAutoStart/Stopsystemwillstarttheenginedueto
lowbatteriesandcoldoil.
•TheESPARheaterwillcontinuetooperatewhiletheAuto
Start/Stopsystemrunstheengine.
•ReleasingtheparkbrakedisablestheESPARHeater.
VehiclesNotEquippedwithESPARHeaters
ForvehiclesnotequippedwithanESPARheater,theAutoStart
/Stopsystemwillstartthevehicleforbothheatingandcooling.
Vehicleshouldbepre-conditionedtoacomfortablesleeper

sleepertemperatureislessthantheoperator-selected
