StalkShifterOperation
Thestalkshifterisequippedwithavarietyoffunctions.The
transmissionhasthecapabilitytobemanuallycontrolledlike
apaddleshifterifthedriversochooses.Theautomaticgear
selectionislocatedonthiscomponent,andthereisalsothe
optionforanenginebraketobecontrolledbytheshifterstalk.
GearSelection
Theautomaticgearselectioniscontrolledbyrotatingtheknob
attheendoftheshifterstalk.T oengageeachautomaticgear
selection,rotatetheknobattheendofthestalkforwardor
backwarduntilthetriangleindicatorlinesupwiththedesired
gear.Theinstrumentpanelgaugeclusterwilldisplaythe
selectedtransmissiongear.RefertotheControlsandFeatures
sectionofthismanualortheElectronicGaugeCluster
OperationandMaintenanceManualformoreinformationon
transmissiongeardisplay.Theautomaticgearselectionsmay
varydependingontheoptionschosenatthetimeofpurchase.
Manual/AutomaticMode
Themanual/automaticmodeiscontrolledbytheactuationof
theknobontheendoftheshifterstalk.T oputthevehicleinto
manualmode,pushintowardsthesteeringcolumnontheknob
attheendofthestalkshifter.Onceinmanualmode,pushthe
stalkforwardtowardstheinstrumentpanelinordertodownshift
andpullthestalkbacktowardstheoperatortoupshiftgears.
Ifthevehicleisinmanualmode,pushinontheknobagainto
returnittoautomaticmode.
