BlowerSpeedControl
Usethiscontroltoregulatetheamountofairprovidedtothe
ventsinanymodeyouselect.Turntheknobclockwiseto
increasefanspeed.TurningthecontroltotheOFFpositionwill
shutoffthefanbutmaynotpreventoutsideairfromenteringthe
vehicle.Turningofftheblowerspeedcontrolalsoturnsoffthe
A/Ccompressor.Thebuttoninthemiddleofthedialcontrols
therecirculationandfreshairinthecab.
TemperatureControl
Usethetemperaturedialcontroltoregulatethetemperatureof
theairdischargedfromthevents.TheBLUEareaofthecontrol
indicatescoolertemperatureswhiletheREDareaindicates
warmertemperatures.Thecenterbuttonofthedialcontrolsthe
ON/OFFmodefortheairconditioning.
QuickSettings
TheA/Csystemisequippedwithtwoquicksettingoptionsfor
easyaccessoftheMaxDefrosterandMaxA/Cmodes.Pressing
theMaxDefrostwillturnontheA/Candactivatefreshhotair
athighblowerspeedtobeoutputfromthevents.Movingthe
dialtotheMaxA/CsettingwillturnontheA/Candactivate
maximumcoldairtemperature,recirculation,andahighblower
speed.TheMaxA/CandtheMaxDefrostercanbeoverridden
byadjustingtheblower,temperature,orrecirculationsettings.
HoweverifyouturnOFFtheignitionwiththecontrolinMAXA/C
orMAXDefrostmode,thenexttimeyouturntheignitiontothe
keyONposition,thesystemwillreturntodefaultMAXA/Cor
MAXDefrostoperationunlesstheblowerisOFF.
RecirculationButton
NOTE:Continuoususeoftherecirculatemodemaymake
theinsideairstuffy.Useofthismodeforlongerthan15-
30minutesisnotrecommendedunlessoutsideconditions
requireit.
Thisbuttonselectsfreshairorrecirculatedair.Theairwill
berecirculatedwhenthelightonthebuttonisilluminated.
Recirculationislockedoutindefrost,mix,andadjacentdot
positions.Userecirculationtoblockoutanyoutsideodors,
smoke,ordustandtocooltheinteriorrapidlyuponinitialstartup
inveryhotorhumidweather.Thisbuttonislocatedinthecenter
ofthefanspeeddial.
MaxDefrostButton
Pressingthisbuttonwilldirectthemajorityoftheairowto
thewindshield,whilemaintainingairowtothesidewindow
outlets.Asmallamountofairowisdirectedtotheooroutlets.
Temperaturewillbesettofullhotandtheblowerwillbesetto
high.TheA/Cwillbeactiveandtheinletdoorwillforcefreshair
intothecabtoreducehumiditylevelsandmoisturebuildupon
thewindshield.T emperatureandblowerspeedcanbechanged
byadjustingthecorrespondingdial.IftheMAXDefrostbutton
isilluminatedpriortokeyOFFposition,thesystemwillreturn
tohighblower,freshair,A/CONandfullheatuponKeyON
positionwhenthecontrolissettoanyothersettingexcept
blowerOFF .
