LAY:WIND1:ADD? LEFT,MTAB
Result:
'2'
Adds a new window named '2' with a marker table to the left of
window 1.
Usage: Query only
LAYout:WINDow<n>:IDENtify?
This command queries the name of a particular display window (indicated by the <n>
suffix) in the active channel.
Note: to query the index of a particular window, use the LAYout:IDENtify[:
WINDow]? command.
Suffix:
<n>
.
Window
Return values:
<WindowName> String containing the name of a window.
In the default state, the name of the window is its index.
Example:
LAY:WIND2:IDEN?
Queries the name of the result display in window 2.
Response:
'2'
Usage: Query only
LAYout:WINDow<n>:REMove
This command removes the window specified by the suffix <n> from the display in the
active channel.
The result of this command is identical to the LAYout:REMove[:WINDow] command.
Suffix:
<n>
.
Window
Example:
LAY:WIND2:REM
Removes the result display in window 2.
Usage: Event
LAYout:WINDow<n>:REPLace <WindowType>
This command changes the window type of an existing window (specified by the suffix
<n>) in the active channel.
The effect of this command is identical to the LAYout:REPLace[:WINDow] com-
mand.
To add a new window, use the LAYout:WINDow<n>:ADD? command.
