mac-address-table notification
Use this command to enable the MAC address notification function. You can use The no form of the
command to disable this function.
mac-address-table notification [interval value | history-size value]
no mac-address-table notification [interval | history-size]
Specify the interval of sending the
MAC address trap message, 1
second by default.
Specify the maximum number of the
entries in the MAC address
notification table, 50 entries by
default.
By default, the interval is 1 and the maximum number of the entries in
the MAC address notification table is 50.
Global configuration mode.
The MAC address notification function is specific for only dynamic
MAC address and secure MAC address. No MAC address trap
message is generated for static MAC addresses. In the global
configuration mode, you can use the snmp-server enable traps
mac-notification command to enable or disable the switch to send
the MAC address trap message.
