CLI Reference DHCP Configuration Commands
Define the suffix domain name of the DHCP
client.
Enable the DHCP client on the interface to
obtain the IP address information.
Define the name of the DHCP address pool
and enter the DHCP address pool
configuration mode.
domain-name
Use this command to define the suffix domain name of the DHCP client in the DHPC address pool configuration
mode. The no form of this command can be used to delete the suffix domain name.
domain-name domain-name
no domain-name
Define the suffix domain name string of the
DHCP client.
No suffix domain name by default.
DHCP address pool configuration mode.
After the DHCP client obtains specified suffix domain name, it can
access a host with the same suffix domain name by the host name
directly.
The example below defines the suffix domain name i-net.com.cn for the
DHCP client.
domain-name i-net.com.cn
Define the DNS server of the DHCP client.
Define the name of the DHCP address pool and
enter the DHCP address pool configuration mode.
hardware-address
Use this command to define the hardware address of the DHCP client in the DHPC address pool configuration
mode.The no form of this command can be used to delete the definition of the hardware address.
hardware-address hardware-address [type]
no hardware-address
