Subsection 01 (JET PUMP)

Apply 4 cc of jet pump bearing grease (P/N 293
550 032) on bearing.

Press oil seal no. 7 using seal/bearing pusher
(P/N 529 035 819) until tool bottoms. Make sure
seal lips are facing up.

Install spacer no. 6 and seal no. 5. Ensure seal lip
is facing up.
Install circlip no. 4.
On the outlet side, install 2 O-rings no. 20 in their
respective groove.
Before installing any other parts, pump can be
pressurized to insure proper seal installation. See
PUMP PRESSURIZATION below.
Apply Loctite antiseize on impeller shaft.
Apply BOMBARDIER LUBE on the wear ring sur-
face. Start screwing the impeller on its shaft. If
impeller is too tight, use impeller tool to turn im-
peller to machine wear ring before installing on ve-
hicle. Make sure to turn it smooth enough so that
engine starter should turn it.
Mount impeller remover/installer in a vise.
