Plan the Configuration Beforeyoubeginconfiguringpartitions,decide

Exporter
Whenastoragepartitioncontainsmultipledrives,decidewhichdriveisthe
exporterforthepartition.Theexporterreceivestheroboticcontrolcommands
fromthehostandrelaysthemtotherobotics.

Global Spares
DecidewhetheryouwanttousetheGlobalSparefeatureandifso,whichdrive

FibreChannelarbitratedloop,fabric,orSAN.Ifyouselect
hardaddressing,the
driveusesthefixedLoopIDyouset.
SCSI Storage

Drive SCSI IDs
IfapartitionusesSCSIdrives,decidewhatSCSIIDtouseforeachdrive.Each
SCSIIDmustbeuniquefortheSCSIbustowhichthedriveisconnected.Valid
