1. FromtheMLMMediaVerificationscreenortheEncryptionscreen,
clickNext.ThePartitionUsersscreendisplays.
2. Selecttheuserswhoareallowedaccesstothispartition.Onlyusers
whoarealreadyconfiguredcanbeselected(see
ConfiguringLibrary
Usersonpage96).
Note: Alloftheuserswhoareconfiguredwithoperatorprivilegesare
listedunderAllow only.Selectoneormoreoftheseusersto
enablepartitionbasedsecurityforoperators.Superusersand
administratorsalwayshavefullaccesstoallpartitions.
Type Configures the partition to...
No Encryption Turnoffencryption.Noneofthedatainthepartitionisencrypted.Thisisthe
defaultsetting.
Spectra SKLM
Encryption
TurnonSpectraSKLMEncryptionkeymanagementfordrivebasedencryption
usingdirectattachedLTO5andlatergenerationdrives.
Note: IfPostScanwasenabledontheMLMMediaVerificationscreen,Spectra
SKLMEncryptioncannotbeselected,andisgrayedout.
BlueScale
Encryption
TurnonBlueScaledrivebasedencryptionusingdirectattachedLTO4and
latergenerationdrives.Allkeymanagementtasksareperformedthroughthe
BlueScaleuserinterface.
Note: IfyouhaveBlueScaleEncryptionProfessionaleditionandmultiple
encryptionkeysconfiguredonthelibrary,selecttheprimarykeyforthe
partition.Thiskeyisusedwhenencryptinganddecryptingdata.Then,Select
none,one,ormultipleadditionalkeystobeassociatedwiththepartitionfor
decryptingdata.Amaximum
ofeightdecryptionkeyscanbeassignedtoone
partition.
