Power Specifications
Thissectiondescribesthepowerspecificationsforthelibrary.
Input Power Requirements
Thefollowingtableshowstheinputpowerrequirementsforthelibrary
withonetofourLTOtapedrivesinstalled.Eachinputmustbeprotected
byacircuitbreakerratedfor15amps.
WhenusingtheredundantACpowerconfiguration,connecteachpower
supplyinputtoaseparatebranchcircuit.Usingseparatecircuitsallowsfor
failoverintheeventofapowerfailureinoneofthecircuits.ThetwoAC
inputsmustbeonthesamephase,andthevoltagesmustbethesame
withinafewvolts.
Power Cord Specifications
Thepowercordincludedwiththelibraryisconsideredpartofthelibrary
andisnotintendedforusewithanyotherequipment.
Notes: Thesupply‐endconnectorisconsideredthedisconnectfor
theunit.Makesurethatthesocket‐outletfortheAC
connectionsisinanaccessiblelocationnearthelibrary.
