RESTORING THE LIBRARY CONFIGURATION
Overview Ifyouhavevalidbackupsofthelibrary’sconfigurationandthe
MLMdatabasesavedonaUSBdeviceorsentasanemailattachment,you
canusethebackupstorestorethelibraryintheeventofadisaster.Youcan
alsousethesebackupstorestorethelibraryifproblemsrequireyouto
replacetheLCMorthememorycardintheLCM.SeeBackingUpthe
LibraryConfigurationonpage114forinformationaboutbackingupthe
libraryconfiguration.
Notes:  Alibraryconfigurationbackupfilecanonlybeusedto
restorethelibrarythatgeneratedit.Theconfiguration
backupfilecannotbeusedtoclonetheconfigurationfrom
onelibrarytoanother.
 Allbackupfilesofthelibraryconfigurationincludeany
BlueScaleencryptionkeysthatwerestoredinthelibraryat
thetimethefilewascreated.
 ThebackupoftheMLMdatabasealsocontainstheDLM
database.
User Privilege Requirements Onlyauserwithsuperuseroradministrator
