capableLTOdrive(LTO‐4orlater)whenthecartridgeisejected.Thedata
pertinenttomediahealthisstoredintheMLMdatabaseandusedto
determinethemediahealthstatus(UsableorImpaired)includedinMedia
LifecycleManagementreports.

User Privilege Requirements Onlyauserwithsuperuseroradministrator
privilegescanenableMLMandconfiguretheglobalMLMfeatures.
Before disabling (or re-enabling) Media Lifecycle Management, make sure that
none of the drives in the library contain a cartridge. Use your application software
to unload cartridges from the drives and return them to the slots in the library.
