isassignedasoftaddresswhenitconnectstotheFibreChannel
arbitratedlooporfabric.
IfyouselectHard addressing,click+and–asrequiredtoselecta
uniqueloopIDforeachtapedrive.Iftheaddressyouselectis
assignedtoanotherdeviceontheFibreChannelarbitratedloop
orfabric,thehostmaynotbeabletoconnecttothedrive.

Make sure that the SCSI IDs you specify are not assigned to other devices on the
same SCSI bus. Assigning the same SCSI ID to multiple devices on the same SCSI
bus causes communication problems on the bus.
