Disabling Encryption in a Partition
Usethefollowingstepstodisableencryptioninapartition.
Note: Ifyouarenotalreadyloggedinasanencryptionuser,youmust
entertheencryptionpasswordbeforeyoucreateoredita
partitionusingtheBlueScalepartitionwizard.Ifyouarenot
loggedin,theEncryptionscreendoesnotdisplay.
1. AccessthePartitionsscreen(seeAccessingthePartitionWizardon
page164).
2. Selectthepartitionforwhichyouwanttodisableencryption.ClickEdit.
3. ClickNexttonavigatethroughthepartitionwizardscreensuntilyou
reachtheEncryptionscre en(seeFigure195onpage291).
4. SelectNo Encryption.
5. ClickNexttomovetothenextpartitionconfigurationscreen.Navigate
throughtheremainingpartitionconfigurationscreensbyclickingNext.
6. WhenyoureachtheSummaryscreen,clickSave.
Encryption Option Description
No Encryption Turnsoffencryption. Noneofthedatainthepartitionisencrypted.
Spectra SKLM
