Log Forwarding
ThisfeatureconfiguresthelibrarytosendmonthlyASLfilesto
preconfiguredrecipients(seeConfigureLogSetForwardingonpage337).
Critical Alarms
Whenyouenablecriticalalarms,thelibraryautomaticallygeneratesan
ASLfilewheneveranyoftheeventsinthefollowingtableoccurs.Ifyou
configuredoneofyourAutoSupportprofilesastheAutoSendProfile,the
libraryautomaticallysendstheASLfiletothemailrecipientsinthe
AutoSendprofile.
Note: Ifyouselectautosupport@spectralogic.comasamailrecipientin
theAutoSendprofile,thelibraryalsosendstheASLfileanda
ticketrequesttoSpectraLogicTechnicalSupport.

Motion Restart Whenevermotionrestarts.Eachmotionrestartistreatedasaseparateevent
andresultsingenerationandsubmissionofanAutoSupportticketrequest.
Drive Failure Whenthelibrarydetectsadrivefailurethatresultsinthepercentageoffailed
drivesinapartitionmeetingorexceedingthespecifiedthreshold.
Thefollowingdriveproblemscangenerateadrivefailureevent:
