Description
The copy running-config startup-config command is used to save the
current settings.
Syntax
copy running-config startup-config
Command Mode
Privileged EXEC Mode
Privilege Requirement
Only Admin and Operator level users have access to these commands.
Example
Save current settings:
T1600G-52TS# copy running-config startup-config
17.15 copy startup-config tftp
Description
The copy startup-config tftp command is used to backup the configuration
file to TFTP server.
Syntax
copy startup-config tftp ip-address
ip-addr
filename
name
Parameter
ip-addr
—— IP Address of the TFTP server. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are
supported, for example 192.168.0.1 or fe80::1234.
name
—— Specify the name for the configuration file which would be backup.
