ABB 615 Series - Optical ST Serial Rear Connection

The RPW600 modem has a built-in 5 kVAC (RMS, 1 min) level insulation
against ground potential in the pilot wire connection.
13.4.6 Optical ST serial rear connection
Serial communication can be used optionally through an optical connection either in loop
or star topology. The connection idle state is light on or light off.
Using ST loop mode requires an ST serial converter that supports
detecting and removing of duplicate request after transmission trough full
circle.
13.4.7 Communication interfaces and protocols
The communication protocols supported depend on the optional rear communication
module.
