The Copy Pads function lets you copy one or more pads
from one program to another.
To select the type of pad copy you would like to
perform, use the Copy Type field. You can copy a
single Pad, a Pad Bank or a Range of pads.
Pad: Use the From Program and Pad fields to
select the program and pad you would like to
copy from, and use the To Program and Pad
fields to select the program and pad you would
like to copy to.
Bank: Use the From Program and From Bank
fields to select the program and pad bank you
would like to copy from, and use the To Program
and To Bank fields to select the program and pad
bank you would like to copy to.
Range: Use the From Program, Start Pad and
End Pad fields to select the program and range of
pads you would like to copy from, and use the To
Program and Start Pad fields to select the
program and pad you would like to copy to.
To apply the settings, tap Apply.
To confirm the copy, tap Do It.
To cancel, tap Close.
The Edit Pad Map function lets you assign specific MIDI
notes to your pads in each program, except for keygroup
programs.
To select a pad to edit, press it or use the Pad field.
To set the corresponding MIDI note for the pad,
use the MIDI Note field.
Use the Presets buttons to quickly apply one of three
common pad layout presets: Chromatic C-2, Classic
MPC and Chromatic C1.
To close the window and return to the previous
screen, tap the X, Close or anywhere outside the
window.
