MIDI Program Renaming
You can now rename any control in a MIDI program. This
lets you save the MIDI program with renamed parameters
and use it in any MPC project.
To rename a MIDI control:
1. Select a MIDI program.
2. Press Menu, and then tap Program Edit to open
Program Edit mode.
3. Tap the Edit button at the top of the screen.
4. Tap the MIDI Control dropdown menu to select the
MIDI assignment for each control.
5. Tap the pencil icon to edit the name of the selected
control using the keyboard that appears.
MIDI Monitor
You can now monitor incoming MIDI messages using the
built-in MIDI monitor.
To view incoming MIDI data, tap the MIDI In/Out icons
in the Main Mode or Menu toolbar. The MIDI Monitor
popup will display the last 10 MIDI messages sent or
received.
Tap In to view incoming MIDI messages.
Tap Out to view outgoing MIDI messages.
Tap Clear to clear the monitor log.
Tap Close or the X to close the MIDI monitor and
return to the previous page.
Undo History
You can now view your Undo History from your MPC
hardware.
To view the Undo History window, open the Menu and
tap the clock icon. The last 10 undoable (and redoable)
actions you have performed will appear in this list in
sequence. Each action is named in the Action column
with additional information in the Detail column.
Tap the Undo button to undo the last action.
Tap the Redo button to redo the last action you
undid.
The magenta action marker indicates the current
“undo state” location—the last-performed action.
To undo or redo multiple actions at once, click and drag the action marker to the desired location in the list.
The project will immediately revert to that state. Actions that can be redone (below the action marker) are grayed
out.
Tap Close or the X to close the Undo History window and return to the previous page.
