PURGE DATABASE (SEC)
Syntax
PURGE DATABASE [FORCE]
Description Purges all contents in the system configuration database and then automatically restarts
the CFC. After the restart, the database is repopulated only with factory default configu-
ration.
Options The following table gives the range of values for each option that can be specified with
this command and a default value (if applicable).
Example PURGE DATABASE FORCE
Option Description Default Value
FORCE Overrides the user confirmation.
Caution: The configuration must be restored
through individual CLI commands, or
read from a script file using the
EXECUTE SCRIPT command, or by
restoring the database contents from a
network server using the RESTORE
DATABASE command.
